With our specialized assessment tool called "Kaijin", we conduct thorough evaluations to determine if a company's network is susceptible to ransomware.  Utilizing the most up to date  reverse engineered attacks based on current, real ransomware, we enable organizations to strengthen their defenses and help mitigate the risk of ransomware incidents. This model allows for a cost effective method in which we can take a single host with your companies typical build and give you an assessment based on that build. Kaijin can also be deployed in a test server, identically to how typical ransomware is used. This enables your company to see what a real ransomware attack will look like, while allowing complete control and enabling your blue team to watch the deployment step by step.   

Kaiju understands that many companies prefer the control a tabletop exercise gives. Our Ransomware simulation tool Kaijin, is a remarkable tool to utilize in a tabletop exercise as it allows you complete control over the deployment and functionality of the tool. If you would like to identify an "infected host" during the exercise, Kaijin has the capability to simply mark that host with a red background in what we call a low impact test. Kaijin offers a tiered approach to the tabletop exercise, up to an including data encryption (again completely controlled by the customer) as well as messaging with the "malicious actor" enabling the customer to run the most realistic tabletop exercise for ransomware offered on the market today. 
      

Utilizing our Ransomware assessment tool Kaijin, Kaiju Security will work with your network security or IT department in a step by step process. This process allows us to show your company what a ransomware attack looks like step by step. This allows you to check logs, see the attack in action, create alerts based on what your team sees, while enabling them to start, stop or return to the beginning of the attack. This process has been used to successfully train Intrusion Detection and Intrusion Prevention Systems, better preparing them and your company to fend of a real Ransomware attack.
